Philippa Egerton-Warburton 
VP Head of Business Development

Philippa Egerton-Warburton is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Weatherden. She brings experience in pharma and biotech deal-making from licensing to strategic acquisitions. With a proven track record of facilitating corporate growth, Philippa enhances Weatherden’s capabilities in identifying and executing business development opportunities.

Previous experience in BD includes her role at Calliditas Therapeutics, a rare disease nephrology-focused company, that was acquired by Asahi Kasei for $1.1B. Prior to this she was involved with sourcing and structuring asset financing and development deals with biotechs and big pharma at Avillion, working closely with industry-leading private equity and venture investors. Philippa started her career on the investment side, firstly at BlackRock and then Blackstone, providing her with a robust foundation in strategic evaluation and decision making from an investment perspective.

Based in London, Philippa will leverage her cross-functional experience to drive meaningful growth and evolution of the business, focused on achieveing topline growth through organic BD and strategic collaborations for Weatherden.
